The CERES Consortium

The CERES project is implemented by a strong and multidisciplinary European consortium bringing together 10 partners from 5 EU countries, combining academic excellence, applied research, industry expertise, certification bodies, and civil society organisations.
The consortium includes universities and higher education institutions, research and innovation organisations, industry and compliance consortia, certification bodies, and civil society and communication actors. This diversity ensures that CERES effectively bridges research, education, skills development, and real-world application in the field of circular economy and digital innovation.
Each partner contributes specific expertise to the project, ranging from curriculum design and delivery, digital learning platforms, and certification processes, to industry engagement, policy alignment, hackathon organisation, and community building. Together, the partners co-create and implement the CERES Certified Training Path, ensuring it is market-driven, inclusive, and aligned with the evolving needs of Europe’s circular economy transition.
Through close collaboration at local, national, and European levels, the CERES consortium works to redesign skills ecosystems, support lifelong learning, and empower students, professionals, and organisations to actively contribute to a sustainable, resilient, and digitally enabled circular economy.
